yes they are. I go because I have gestational diabetes and I have in the past had 5 miscarriages. but they monitor the my heart for 20 mins then always look at them.:) with a ultrasound every week and a sonogram every 4 weeks. and u get pictures. u can even ask for them:). @tater4414

I went to one from 15 weeks to 32 weeks when I was pregnant. It's nerve wracking cause you don't know what will happen, but they are great at their jobs
