In need of some motivation really think I'm going to quit breastfeeding but I wanted to breastfeed from the beginning.. I'm think I'm just talking out of the pain cause when I breastfeed my son it hurts really bad.. And when I take a shower it burns so I've been using a nipple sheiks from the beginning and he seems to suck my nipple almost through and lately I'm been trying to go natural and not use it but he doesn't seem to want to latch at all and when he does he won't put my whole areola in his mouth... What should I do I stay up for two hours every two hours with him at night.. I'm sleep deprived and my daughter feeds for my attention and I just push her aside I think I'm just getting irritated and I know I can't use formula cause he can't break down the protein he gets constipated and I or my hubby has to help him poo... Any ideas??

have you tried getting a pump and just give him the breast milk out the bottle

yes but at night I would still have to pump and my milk supply is low due to me getting sick and taking Medicine that decreases my milk supply😳 I don't have enough to pump and give to him at night either so I can get some sleep... I would have to wake up before he wakes up at least an hour before to pump what I have and then give it to him..

He's. Not at all on a schedule so j wouldn't know when he would wake up or anything

Take lactation pills (are they called that?), eat oatmeal, or lactation cookies to help with supply. •• I pump throughout the day, and put my son to the boob (with a nipple shield on) twice a day (on average). Also, after pumping/putting him to the breast I put on nipple ointment. I also run water over my boobs or put a hot towel on them if I'm super uncomfortable. I wish you the best, I hope it all works out for you. 😊

I drink the lactation tea but my breast still don't engorged to the fullest like they used to
