I had a girlfriend tell me that after baby is born ask each nurse you see for formula to feed with even if you just did and hide the unopened bottles in your bag. Also, did you get your samples from enfamil and Similac?

Will you be able to try breastfeeding?? Free food straight from the tap. 👍🏼. Also just like what @hapmama523 said, ask each nurse for formula, and during your first visit with the pediatrician mention that you don't know what formula to give to baby and they may give samples. My preemie was supposed to be I neosure and she gave me like, 8 sample cans.

Check local yard sale sites on Facebook. I'm sure someone will help you or sell you inexpensive cans.

@kartesia, they only do Gerber around here and my doctor won't prescribe different for her I was just hoping to get the brand o trust the most for her because Gerber never agreed with me as a baby but enfamil and similac did

@vrf04042016, it depends on location too there's nothing around me that isn't 3-4 hours or !20$ a can for formula

you should be fine with those until you get your next check the baby won't eat that much just being born.
