Officially quitting my job tomorrow and working one last week. I'm too exhausted and crampy and sore and I work with petty bitches. I have worked here for over two years and I am tired of them treating us all like dirt lately. I'm so appreciative that my husband makes enough to support our little family and that he wants me to stop working and be happy and healthy and take care of our son.

Why not just go on maternity leave for the disability checks then quit?

@joceycx, since I work in a restaurant I don't get paid maternity leave. And since my husband is army we are moving right around the time the unpaid maternity leave would end so there's really no point in staying.

@joceycx, thank you! It's actually such a feeling of relief. It's such a stressful place and being pregnant makes it 10x harder with all the late nights and long hours

@joceycx, what makes it worse is that my boss is not sensitive to me at all. I still pull really long shifts and they get mad that I can't lift heavy things and that I go slower and have to sit down more. After pouring my heart into this company for two years I honestly expected better. But to him I'm inconveniencing the restaurant by having a baby 😂😂

Wow that's so messed up. Yeah you're doing a good thing by quitting. Better options will come in the future
