how do i tell if my daughter has an ear infection, she always pulls at her ears, since birth shes…

That was my son he never showed no pain of ear infections and always tugged his ears until I go to the doctor they would be like yep he has a ear infection with my son I noticed when ever he got a runny nose or any kind of fever or slight cold I'd always just take him in when he started pulling his ears a lot to just be on the safe side he was so close to getting tubes in his ears because of all the ear infections he had!

my daughter used to do that too. still does but not as much. I too thought she had a ear infection but it was just because she teething. she's been teething since 3montbs old.

i think my daughters teething as well, shes falling asleep right now, my daughters been doing it since birth and her dr said its just because shes tired so hard to tell if its because her ears hurt but my mom said shes probably being crying uncontrollably @ab @kali15

well it can be because of tiredness. now that you mentioned it. my daughter when she's sleepy and fighting the sleep she would tug on her ears as well as hit her face. it can be tiredness, teething or infection. get it checked if you haven't. also I usually use WEBMD or Mayo Clinic for advise. it works in my opinion

usually on point esp. WebMD. pit in the age and symptoms and it gives you one or multiple diagnosis @supermom1104

im ALWAYS googling stuff when i dont know lol but shes peacefully asleep, ill probably call her dr tomorrow to get her in thre sometime soon if she seems to get worse im definitely taking her to the ER, my little sister had all kinds of infections in her ears and it made her have a speech impediment for the longest time @kali15

She could be doing as well soothing herself
