I wonder if people realize Doctors aren't nutrionists (pediatricians get education on kids all the way to 18yo) you'd have to go to a specialist that takes mom going through hoops to see (been there).. so when an ER dr sees your baby they really go off what they've learned at a seminar.. Doctors make money their money how? Exactly. Be mindful of that mommas. Baby companies like formula companies and pharmaceutical companies make bank off our kids bc when a FTM comes in, she will do and take any advice a Dr says.. as any mom would, even myself.
this is just my opinion but I almost always call a doula before I call a doctor.

It's not a requirement for Doulas to have formal education. I would be careful with the conspiracy theories about doctors. Finding one you trust is extremely valuable.

all things considered I got that info from my Dr that did my surgery and delivered my first born. Doulas rock and I didn't say anything about them needing an education. to each their own of course. @jana.bear

Most hospitals have an on call labor and delivery doctor on floor .. U can ask to have them paged to the er

yes maam. my Dr gave me his cell phone number to call when I was ready to push lol needless to say my toddler has already accidentally called him when she had my phone that I left on te table 😂😂 definitely put a pin lock on @10yearslater0205
