@hermommy, it's part of genetic testing I think. My doctor doesn't do it until later because I'm due for mine in a week.

its kinda like a test for birth defects like down syndrome etc etc... and i didnt get one when i got mines done but maybe you'll get lucky.

@hermommy, you most likely have. I had some done already too, but they're doing more in a week along with the hour glucose test. yay

oh yeah! if it's the defects I had that done at 10 weeks thank goodness I got scared lol
