I'm getting my blood drawn today and I have a severe needle phobia...to the point of where I almost cancel my appointments or where I'll have panic attacks up until I have to go in. I know it's not that big of a deal and everything is fine once it's over, but I can't seem to shake everything that happens before. And my phlebotomist is a bitch. When I tell her I have anxiety and a sever fear, she tells me to get over it and "quit being a baby like the one you're having" which makes my appointments even worse. Any suggestions? I'm a mess right now 😭

wow that is very rude and unprofessional of her!! I would say something to the main doctor about her. I get extremely nervous about needles too. it's weird because I love piercings but it's something about getting blood drawn that makes me want to pass out. I totally understand
