Anyone else ever caught their SO in some shit and saved screenshots and then found and read them months later and gotten upset and mad about it again? Ugh I'm unbelievably upset and hurt all over again and I don't know how to explain it to him when he asks what's wrong without him getting mad about me "dwelling on the past"

Fact of the matter is, if he broke that trust HE needs to understand that it's not just going to go away. It hurt you what he did. You're allowed to be upset every once in a while. We all have our bad days. If he gets mad about it, then he's probably more mad at himself that he can't just let it go and not talk about his mistakes.

he's messed up a couple times. any time I bring it up he gets so mad at me and says I'll never get past it if I keep dwelling on the past. I'm not trying to but the shit he did really hurt. I forgave him way too easily and didn't give myself time to be mad and upset about it so now it still bothers me @therockamom

That's not fair to you. It's like he messed up and got a free pass. You need to explain to him for you to completely move on from it, you're going to need time and support from him. The whole first year of my marriage was insane because of something my husband did and it took a lot of time and a lot of talks with God for me to get right and to find a way to forgive him. Healing takes time and if he's not going to be supportive then you need to tell him that you're not going to get past it with him IN your life unless he's understanding. He is the one who caused you the pain after all. @kristinamarie_1996
