I'm 38w 3d and I see all these women having their babies and I'm just like "what about me". My doctor won't even check me until next week when I'm 40+. She said she would when I was 37 weeks but then changed her mind last minute and it left me very upset. I've been having contractions on and off for days now. 7.5 minutes apart, 1 minute long, but they never get stronger than discomfort. I'm discouraged. I know that "baby will come on their own time" but seriously? All these signs and for what? To just be stuck in this hellhole of questions with a doctor who's treating me like I've never been pregnant before? Ugh. I'm thinking of calling in to schedule a c section because I'm exhausted and in pain and ready.
