Invite family over for dinner and my mother goes out and buys hotdogs because she won't eat what I made for them. Then she lets my 7yr old (midlife crisis) brother jump all over my furniture and yell without any recourse. Not once do they ask about my pregnancy, or even bring it up. My dad said all of eight words to me the 3+ hours he was here. Everything was all about my mom, and her new house, and bla bla bla. Not the fact that she is about to make me homeless, that I am about to have a baby, nope. Her life is just so HARD. I just want to curl up and cry. Or throw things. Or both.
