I have a feeling I won't.. my sister in law didn't receive anything at hers (and most likely same people will be going) and same as for my daughters 1st birthday she didn't receive anything nor no one went. Im just afraid I'll spend all this money time and energy and putting a baby shower together and no one will show up nor bring anything. which I wouldn't understand why not because that's what a baby shower is for../:

I would be pissed tf off if nobody brought a gift too mines, that's what baby showers is for is too shower the mother with gift! I'll be damned if I spend all this money on food and prizes , just for you too eat and go! hell nah 😴 I'm js make it clear then "Please bring the baby a gift*

that's what I'm saying. I had put that on my daughters party invitations and I've said if I ever had a baby shower I would make it clear to bring a gift and everyone tells me that its tacky. so I'm just like wtf-.- how so? like u said a baby shower is to shower the mother to be with gifts for the baby -.-

to not bring a gift when this person put time and effort as well as money for a baby shower!! the least you could do is bring baby diapers...

yesss! I hate going to birthday parties or baby showers empty handed. it kills me because I wouldn't want someone to show up to mine empty handed and everyone says I'm selfish and its tacky to say not come empty handed. idk why
