As happy as I am, it's pretty stressful having a baby with someone who's family have completely different thoughts/views than the ones you grew up with. For instance, my family is strict on the no kissing baby on the face where as his family wants to smother her in kisses and it bothers me so much. She's barely 2 days old and if she gets sick right now I don't know what I'll do. The other day I brought it up to them and my father in law literally said 'I don't care, I'm still gonna spoil her' then he looked at my baby and said 'your mom trying to stop grandpa from loving you' and then gave her a big kiss on her face and I was like 😤😤 I've talked about this with my husband and he agrees especially since me and baby are having trouble latching so we're both aware that she can get sick easier since we're supplementing with formula while trying to get her to latch. It's so stressful. I'm sorry but I had to get it out.

I see u r point but one good thing to know is just because you are supplementing with formula doesn't mean she can get sick easier and if they as the other family members aren't sick she should be fine just clean her face off with warm water with wash cloth and babies can get sick even if they aren't being kissed on the face just people and family members touching her or going and about can possibly get her sick. I found this out with my forth child with my first child I had a sign on her car seat saying please don't touch your germs are too big for me so please wash your hands if you want to touch thank you
