Ugh my fiance is so concerned with "trying to have fun with his life right now" and not at all concerned about the fact that we STILL do not have a crib or changing table, or god only knows what else. I'm getting shit for talking about how we need these things but when I give him shit about buying ammo for a gun he doesn't even own, I get "you don't control our finances, so stop worrying about them. it stresses me out." I'm sorry how do you think I feel right now?? you're not even home and there's still a ton of shit that we need to get before the babys born and you're worried about ammo for a gun you don't have. the only reason I haven't gone to buy a crib and changing table is because you keep telling me you want to build the crib instead of buying it and I don't want to spend the money we have, I'd rather try to start saving our money. oh wait, I'm sorry, your money.

@twinsmama16, he doesn't get days off until he comes home. he's a truck driver. he doesn't expect me to work, he likes providing for me. he's making better money now with the new company, so I guess we can afford it. my problem is that the guns are what he's concerned about. I try to talk about what we need to get and it annoys him, I'm guessing because he's not here to help and put in his opinion, but idk. he told me today to get whatever we need because that's why he put so much money into the joint account. so I got a travel system that I'm about to post pictures of. it's just annoying because he doesn't listen to me when I tell him we don't need anymore damn guns

Ugh I know the feeling, to an extent. We have everything we need but I'm not working and my boyfriend spent his 1800 dollar tax return gambling.... We literally have no money and he's the one who has to pay the bills after baby's here since I got my last check on Friday (which was only 200). I was PISSED.
I totally get how you feel. My boyfriend was happy then started acting bipolar when we found out we are having twins. Hes started hanging out with friends that drink alot (he normally doesnt drink). One day hes all rubbing my belly & saying we need to start shopping the next day he acts like werr not about to have 2 babies!
I really hope you are able to discuss things calmly & get everything done its so stressful not having the things you know yoy need right away like the crib. Maybe make a nice breakfast on his day off & suggest going to check out prices or maybe have a list of different places & their prices. That way youve taken most of the "work" out of shopping. Because as we all know most men HATE shopping. BEST OF LUCK.
My hubby act that way before I was 28 weeks preg he want to buy a new gun and I refused but he still bought ammo I'm so pissed.... I told him he should think that we're gonna have a baby and for now its not about us its about the baby needs,I'm glad he listen to me..
