@mommydess, yeah, he's not an expressional guy to begin with but just a few weeks ago he was so excited that it was a girl and wanted to feel her move and play with her but then in a snap it all went away.
I know how that goes. But that's what the marine corps teaches them. To detach before they leave. They don't even realize they do it half the time. @sweetpea_nut
My he is a marine and is leaving and won't be back until next year... He acts so uninterested even when I offer before he leaves to go shopping or spend some time feeling the baby move... But it's not of his concern right now. That hurts. Months before he was all about the baby.
He did at one point. That didn't last long though. Apparently forever and a family only means something until you actually get her pregnant. @kadensmommy
I know how shitty that is. Believe me. I was married to a marine for 4 years. 2 deployments. You just have to try to remember that they make them that way. It's not because he doesn't care. It's just a lot easier to say goodbye and leave it behind if you're emotionally detached. Why is he going to be gone until next year though? @sweetpea_nut
