@marce88, oh wow... I just feed him, make sure he is dry, swaddle him tight and he is sleep through the night... Only wake up to eat once

@mrscarterbby, my baby keeps acting like she can never get full and she won't lay down to sleep. I have been sleeping with her in my arms every night

babies develop while they are sleep.so just leave him be..get ur pump time in now and freeze your milk because later on when he gets older you are going to b asking for that time lol.

@kdcmommy26, I like that.. And that's exactly how it happens when my baby feeds... And he is a pro at it when he is doing it but when he wants nothing to do with it it's like OMG this baby act like he don't know what to do... I feel better now though. Thank you so much

@mrscarterbby, my doctor always told me 6hrs they need

@toriblake13, @kaylalee201 @kdcmommy26 that's what I'm thinking but I guess since he is a newborn he just wants to sleep all day long and I didn't think it would be right to just feed him like only twice a day because that's the only time he is like really wanting it... I just didn't know what to do because they kept telling me you HAVE to wake him up to eat... I will take you alls advice and just follow my baby's cues

u dont have to wake him up to feed.just let him sleep.u can pump in the meantime..my baby is 4 months and he shows signs of being hungry but dont want to latch.so i lay him down and let him cry for a little.then try again.sometimes it take 2 tries but he eventually latches on.and sometimes he will rather suck on his fingers.so i leave my boob out,cradle to comfort him and when he's ready,he'll turn his head.

So the nurses told me to feed my son every 2 to 3 hours. That's what I have been TRYING to do but when I try to wake him out of his sleep and feed him he is screaming to the top of his lungs and don't want anything to do with the milk it's like I'm torching him BUT when he is hungry and do want to feed he has no problem latching and will eat for like 30 minutes at a time...idk what to do because I suppose to be feeding him more frequent than he wants it... And sometime when he wants it or at least he is giving me signs, as soon as I put him to the boobs it's like screaming... But still will be reaching and opening his mouth for it at the same time... I just don't know what to do when he does that
