I used the regular bumper pads and never had a problem with them when my girls were baby's they are four and three now

I hve bumpers similar to these but mine are green I have a boy, my son always gets his legs caught in the bars if I take them out. Seems everything is unsafe for baby these days really I have heard you shouldn't have them but I leave them in with my son and have never had problems in his 9 months

yup! they're called mesh breathable bumpers I believe, I've even seen them at Walmart.

But I'd remove the pillows once baby girl is here. Those I believe aren't safe.

you can just get mesh breathable bumpers. I think bumpers are a necessity. my daughters leg got caught in the bars a few times because I never got any bumpers due to everyone telling me they were bad. definitely get the breathable bumpers at least, and keep everything else.

I used bumpers with my son..... they make breathable ones and you can always remove them when she starts rolling
