They told me not to go in unless my contractions were 5 mins apart. Then I went in when they were 4-5 mins apart and they sent me home and told me not to come back unless I couldn't talk through the contractions. (Some people have painless contractions till they are dilated to an 7 or 8) now I have contractions every single day throughout the day mostly 10 mins apart. Joys of staying in early labor and not progressing.
