Right now my little girl sleeps in her bassinet in our room. My SO and I were talking about when would be the right time to move her to her crib in her room. When did you move your baby to their room?

with my previous 2 kids, I switched them at about 2 years old. My youngest is 1.5 & she flips out if I just walk out of our room so she will probably be switched way later. Lol.

I'm a FTM so I don't have any experience, but the sooner you do it the easier it will be for the transition I think.

@meganbrewermommy3, @wildtank we were thinking to either move her when she reaches the weight limit for the bassinet or when she starts to move around a lot and sit up. I'm just really nervous about having her all the way across the house and not just a foot away anymore

My 21 month old still sleeps in our room. We are going to start transitioning him to a toddler bed in his own room soon. Right now we have his crib side carred to our bed. Best decision we ever made.

oh dang. i couldnt do the toddler in my room thing.lol i switched my son around 3 months maybe a little sooner. but he was a really good sleeper. i will do the same with this one. i never gave him a chance to not like to be in his room. bed time was bed time. Never did the screaming toddler not wanting to gonin their bed. unless he was sick of course. in which was a completely different story. but everyone is different. just depends on what you want for you and them.
