My baby girl is almost 3 months & she sleeps in her bassinet at night & loves to sleep on her back , doesn't like the side & barries her face in the blanket on her tummy so that's out the question & I check up on her a thousand times every night .. I'm scared about SIDS is there something I can do to prevent this ?

I freak out about SIDS too. that's why my baby sleeps in the bed with me. if she wasn't I would have lost her because she chokes a lot in her sleep. but set a alarm on your phone and check on her and keep the bassinet next to you.

all you have to do is look at her stomach or lick your finger and put it under her nose, if you feel cold air then you are good (obviously) ☺. hope this helps.

Pacifiers are supposed to help reduce the risk of it so if your baby takes on at bed time that might help ease your worry

I put my hand on her belly and if it goes up and down I know I'm good 👌🏻 & my baby uses the pacifier but not a lot only sometimes & when she goes to sleep she spits it out 🙄

back sleeping is really the safest sleeping position anyways. its our job to worry but deffinetly not a position to worry about. and yes passies are known as a reducer to the risk
