Switching to a toddler bed made my life tons easier with my son. Leaning over the crib to put him in was getting ridiculous. Plus he'd climb out and unfortunately he has my grace (which is none) so we were really afraid of falls. Maybe convince hubby it's safer for her to be closer to the ground now that she's getting older and more likely to climb out? And cribs store pretty well so you could keep it in a closet or something for when baby needs it? (:

If the crib is in good condition you should try selling it on LetGo or OfferUp maybe that will make him feel better about getting the toddler bed
