you still feel pain of birth even with an epidural . maybe not right away but you feel pain .

Lol before I went into labor I was like yea I'm gonna go all natural. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 as soon as my water broke I was like where the fuck is the epidural.

When I had my son I planned to go all natural because my mom did and so did my sister and they kept telling me it wasn't that bad. I had been in labor for about 8 hours when it just became too much for me and I finally caved and took the epidural. It helped for a while but after 36 hours of being in labor I felt a lot of rectal pain and pressure so the epidural didn't take all the pain away. I ended up having to have a c-section because my son's head wasn't positioned properly and he wouldn't have fit through.

@missyowl92, see that is why women shouldn't worry so much about going natural because would if they have a surprise c section . you never know .

@carlitojrmami, yeah my whole birth plan went out the window within the first couple hours. Not saying it's impossible to stick with a plan but it's not likely.

yeah! i thought i could handle the pain but i could barely get to 4 cm before caving. they turned down the meds when it came time to push so i could feel what was happening and what i was doing. still very painful.

@fubbily, yes I was 4cm when I went to the hospital and I couldn't take the pain . and I was mad I had to wait for my epidural

I went 5cm on my own but then had to get an epidural one because I wasn't getting any breaks between contractions and because my dilation stalled after I got it a few mins I was at a 10

and was still able to feel her come out and I felt myself tear
