So I've decided to stop pumping and to just go with formula, as much as I'm disappointed Seth will no longer be drinking breastmilk it was just to tiring and taking to long to be pumping every 2-3 hours , quick question tho, my midwife told me it was normal for my breasts to go abit lumpy and this lump goes away whenever I pump , however Now that I won't be pumping do I just leave it to go on its own? I was told it was a blocked milk duct and that's why it disappears when I've pumped

@cmcdon203, thank you xx

you just have to leave them. your boobs will go rock hard for 3/4 days then they should start to go softer. don't pump or stimulate like @cmcdon203 says as you will keep producing. trust me though it's painful! put cooked frozen cabbageleaves on to soothe! xx

I haven't pumped in one breast for almost 2 days and had no problems but the other still swells up and I have to pump to relieve it , so if I just lessen it each day it should hopefully be painless? @cayleighnatasha xx
