Why does everyone asked to be induced at 37 weeks?

Cause that's already considered full term, which means baby can come out with no problems at that point & some girls dread the last trimester of their pregnancy

With my first I waited until I started having contractions which is at 41 weeks

I think they changed full term actually, I don't think its 37 weeks anymore.

I was reading online it is preferable to stay pregnant for 40 weeks, but 39 is fine too.

37 is considered full term but normal inductions will not take place until ,39-40 weeks
