debate question.. what is your opinion about shaving/waxing before labour? as I am struggling and…

I've recently seen an article saying you shouldn't shave or wax before labour as if could leave you prone to infection. Google it, i think it was on baby centre xx

I kept shaving making sure it was all tidy as it got close to my due date xx

I kept shaving too and I just used a mirror to see what I was doing xx

I kept shaving to make sure I was tidy before labour and throughout pregnancy. Couldn't bare the thought of going in being unkempt like a hairy Mary 😂 this will be my third labour and I'm yet to get an infection. xx

I just shave blind and then ask my oh to have a look if it's ok ha ha 😃 can't imagine giving birth to a baby through a jungle lol @sophiegreen @cayleighnatasha @felicjuh @briony1994

just imagine them going I can see the head, a lot of hair, oh no wait that's just your jungle hahaha xx

I don't think I'll stop keeping it tidy but it's just something I read @polisha0311 xx

Ive just had a full hollywood wax ready for labour.. although i was cringing inside, it was so easy just to let someone else sort it out and wax lasts longer.. 38 weeks eeeeek excited and nervous...

I got my OH to do it for me when I was pregnant with William and I will be doing the same this time lol x

@felicjuh I'm in the same boat, I struggle I just can't reach now 😂 and I don't have a partner to do it for me! Maybe try sitting in the bath and doing it, that's what I'm going to try! Good luck! It's so annoying😂 xx

I've always been natural in the downstairs department lol 😂😂😂 So it didn't bother me :) but I did shave my legs! xx Trust me...they have all seen it before...my modesty/dignity was lost the night I went into hospital to give birth...the amount of people that saw my bits..stuck their fingers up there...plus I was in for 4 days after...I gave up caring haha! xx

I've got one of those Bikini line trimmers with the shaver on the other end. I use that to tidy up. They say not to wax as you could be prone to infection but keeping yourself tidy is okay. X

My OH shaves me 😂😂 he's gets all the sexy jobs @felicjuh I'm completely hairless and I just can't let it grow 🙈🙈 x

Iv Been keeping up to date with the shaving during one of my MC's I didn't expect to b rushed to hospital and u couldn't even see my bits as hadn't done them in a while and hospital had to shave them for me! So Iv made sure Iv kept on top of it lol xx

I am going to be induced on my due date if she is in here by then I'm hoping that I get induced tbh as I need heavy monitoring from consultants through out due to medical reasons and as for shaving I'm making sure I find a way to do it as my mother in law is coming in with me untill my partner drops kids of at there babysitters and Comes to the hospital and It's going to be bad enough her seeing my lady parts never mind if there's a bush lol my OH also finds this hilarious xx

I'm deffo shaving as it's cleaner for me and my baby x

But haven't shaved since I got my bump xx
