Can acid reflux make you feel sick to your stomach? While my cat was laying in my chest/stomach area my chest felt tight & I felt nauseous so I took him off. Once he was off it relieved the pressure & nausea. I burped & had a teensy tiny bit of acid come up... Was that acid reflux or something else? I never had acid reflux before pregnancy & I have trouble telling when I am or not.

Yes that is acid reflux. you may have had it before pregnancy but not notice it because it was silent acid reflux.

@bentleyandmommy, thank you. I wasn't sure what was happening my chest was so tight with him there & then the nausea threw me off.

also the chest tightness can be a panic attack. I know when I would lay on my back with my cat on my chest I'd start getting a really bad tight feeling which ended up being a panic attack on top of acid reflux.

@bentleyandmommy, I have bad anxiety & have been known to have panic attacks... But never from my cat on my chest 😕

I've had to run to the restroom a few times because my acid reflux made me sick. I get heart burn and acid reflux together sometimes and it makes my chest hurt so bad on top of feeling sick and almost throwing up.
