irritated. My 2 year old's doctor handed us a piece of paper about a walk in therapy appointment when we mentioned autism to him. how is that going to help?!?! she can't say more the 10 words, can't string sentences together and doesn't understand the difference between yes and no....it's a guessing game...

my nephew has aspergers (higher functioning form of autism) he couldn't say very many words and wasn't potty trained until he was almost 5. he couldn't understand yes or no and my sister had the worst time trying to understand him. she took him to the doctor and they set up therapy for him. he is now is second grade and one of the top students in his class. give the therapy a chance. they'll give you tips and tricks on how to help her understand and learn

always get a second opinion. my little brother has asperger's and the best advice I can give you is be patient. hes a little hard to understand sometimes and gets on my nerves every now and then but my brother is the smartest, funnest, most loving person I know! keep your head up!
