I'm 32 weeks & I just recently learned about birthing positions which I never knew about :o so far I seem very interested in the standing, squatting & sitting birth position rather than the "traditional" laying in bed birth any experienced stories out there or advice based on any of these? :)

I had a water birth and while pushing I was mostly in the sitting and laying position in the tub. It was the only way I could bare down and get a good enough push. Standing wasn't comfortable with contractions, I just wanted to ball up in a ball or kneel on the floor until the pain went away.

I labored in a rocking chair. Much more comfy than a bed.
