Sit in a steamy bathroom for a bit to unclog the nose and you can also plug in a vicks humidifier or put a tablespoon of vicks and water in a warmer.

steam up the bathroom and sit in there with the baby and try to get the mucus out with a bulb syringe.

My twins were 5 days old when they got their first cold! You can get saline drops to help with the congestion and suction with the bulb syringe! They hate it but it works! Also rub his chest and back with a lil bit of baby vicks! As long as there is no fever greater than 100.4 or less than 97 theres nothing to worry about.
