im really upset at the fact that my mom is giving away my dog even though I bought him with my own money and have taken care of him this whole time. she tells me they're picking him up on Saturday... she's only giving him away because I'm pregnant... im so upset right now...

I'd tell her that if she's getting rid of your dog, that she has to give you the money you paid for the dog. I would care less if it's her house.

Take her to court. She's your mom and all but I would never let my mom or any of my family think they could do that to me. I mean I have 2 dogs pregnant and live with my great aunt. My aunt would never give my dogs away even if it is her house.
