I was getting tattooed/pierced every like 6 months at most. I was able to hold off when I found out that I was pregnant because I didn't want to risk my baby's health or my own. Your body reacts differently to things when you're pregnant. Example, I've had my belly button pierce for 3.5 years and it got infected randomly once I was pregnant and wouldn't go away. Your body is going through weird changes.

You're more prone to infection being pregnant, and your body goes through an adrenaline high that can harm/stress the baby.

most tattoo shops won't tattoo you,incase of infection.cause if you think about it, the infection would be in your blood,which is baby's blood. I myself wouldn't chance it, but I know a couple people who've done it.
