So at the hospital they were talking about babies who sleep to much... My daughter who is three days old will breast feed for around 30 mins and then can sleep for up to 3 hrs at a time. I just thought that's what newborns do. But is she sleeping "too much" ??

my daughter would sleep for 3 hour intervals too when she was a newborn, her pediatrician just said that's lucky lol

Well that eases my mind some@kattastrophe. That's what I thought too! My oldest had colic so I look at this as a blessing lol

No it's what newborns do they eat and sleep! Let your baby sleep she'll wake when she's hungry.

Yeah they sleep about 18+hrs a day totally normal.

One of the nurses at the hospital when my baby was born would say mine slept too much or that she didn't drink enough so she would flick her leg and foot or squish her cheeks to wake her up and make her drink more. It pissed me off

@emmz, yeeaaah. She was no longer our nurse after that night. I was so mad. The nurse we got after that old lady was great though. She was really nice to our baby
