It can be a long process lol I HATED being induced. Went in 2 cm dilated got stuck with a million needles at 10 am at 6 pm after hours of painful contractions I was still 2 cm dilated until they broke my water a half hour later. Didn't deliver my daughter till 1 am lol but everyone is different :)
My mom has 5 kids so I listen to her for advice, but she told me to wait to get induced like of course they will not let you go last 40 weeks but some try to get you done a little early but I wouldn't . Hers when wrong and they had to do an emergency c section @abbigailsmommy
@zayzay101, my doctor won't let me go 41 weeks she wants to check my cervix next Thursday and make a induction date because next Thursday I'll 39 weeks and 4 days
Ohh okay so yeah you'll basically be 40 weeks ! I didn't know you were that far along I probably should have saw that before commenting @abbigailsmommy

I believe they put an IV in you & shoot the meds in through there. @abbigailsmommy
