if I've experienced symptoms earlier in my pregnancy than usual does that mean there's a higher chance I'll go into preterm labor? started experiencing colostrum really early as well as Braxton Hicks contractions.

I've had colostrum too, and pretty sure I've had BH (ER told me it was ligament pain, but I know what that feels like and it was different). I'm 18wks also, but I think it's pretty normal. My milk has gone away now, but I think it's just how our bodies react sometimes. Is this your first pregnancy?

i dont think so, ive had colostrum since about 15 weeks and i mentioned it to my doc because i thought it was too soon and she said that its normal for some women

yes, it's my first. it just seems strange how early I've experienced these things compared to other pregnancies.

Hm, I'm on my second. Wondered if that was related. But honestly, I think sometimes our boobs just get excited for baby and start working early lol 😂 and every pregnancy is different. I'd say it's normal, especially if dr isn't concerned. But I'm constantly wary (I think most moms are lol) and watching for anything out of the norm or whatever. (:

@evococa, yes, definitely. I'm always asking questions to make sure everything is okay and normal.

no. has nothing to do with how early side effects come. the baby will come when it's ready.
