I can't stand my dad he tells me I hold my baby to much witch is why she crystal to be picked up and tells me it's good for her to cry it out but every time I let her cry it out he tells me I need to pick her up and love on her (I know when she hungry and when she needs a diaper change there's two different tones to her crying so don't judge ) but last night while out eating she got fussy and he told me not to give in and pick her up (she was in her car seat all day I had a doctors appointment for me and she barely got time to get out of the car seat except for feedings/ changes but I had to run errands) but she got to fussy and said fuck it cuz she got to the point she spit up and to keep her from choking I got her out quickly and held her against me and cleaned out her mouth and my dad shook his head like I was in the wrong for giving in like bitch I'm not going to let her choke cuz u tell me not to pick her up and now I'm scared to leave her alone with him cuz what if he just let's her lay there choking on her spit up am I in the wrong here

You can't spoil a baby. Typically they say under 6 months old they cry because they need something even if that need is to be snuggled. They call it the fourth trimester. They're getting used to not being cuddly warm and rocked in your womb 24/7. I say don't listen to him and follow your instincts. ❤️

I know that but right now he's all I got I have nothing to my name besides my baby and her clothes and mine if I could live with my mother I would but i can't cuz she lost her house and had to move in to her sisters house and I do stand up for my self here and there like last night I told him I know what I'm doing and all he did was raise his hands like "okay I'm sure u do" @arijane316
