okay so I need some advice... me and my boyfriend want to move in together we have a baby in the way. were both 19 with no credit or rental history money isnt a problem tho. so its a little hard. anyways he had the idea that me and my daughter who is three move in with him at his moms house😒 we would have the master bedroom and everything. she wants to help with the baby and buy baby stiff and everything. but its just I feel we need our own space. all her kids live there with her the oldest is 21. would I be wrong to tell him I don't want to do it??

Move in an save money.. Becuase if you move in they always ask for rental history an twice the deposit

Not all places ask for rental history, but some will ask that you pay first and last months rent and the security deposit could be equal to a months rent as well. So maybe continue to look and take him up on the offer so you all live together until you find a place of your own.

no I would not do it I got my own apt at 19, with no problems you gotta find a place that will rent to you ain't nothing like having your own and having a baby u want peace and space

too many ppl I wouldn't do it unless to save for 3-6 months but you said money isn't the issue so I wouldn't ppl will rent to you with no rental history or little credit history long as it isn't bad credit with judgements and evictions as long as you have stable income that meets their requirements you may have to make a bigger deposit and you can offer to if you really find a place you want

you can find legitimate rentals on Craig's list or in newspapers private owners are more flexible with their rental qualifications but so are prop mgmt companies too sometimes so it depends may be move with him til you find a place which means you can have even more saved if you have to make bigger deposit

You could move in and pay rent. That's what my husband and I did before we got married and first moved out here to Cali. We stayed with his dad and rented a room from him so we could have some kind of renters history. we even had them type out how much we pay and when we do and what all we did at the house. it helps a bit...but if you believe that you can find a place them go for it but remember people are always different when you live with them.

@aydensmommy2016, I didn't know that counted as rent right now I'm living with my mom renting a room. and he's with hisom paying rent also

As long as you say that you have an agreement or even a small contract it's counted for some people. Have her write or type out saying that you pay rent to her..how much..and what days...also she could add that you pay for your own food and all of your own necessities.
