If it is excessive it could be a thyroid issue. My son is 6 months old and it is still terrible. My doctor told me just getting on a women's supplement would help and it's pretty normal as long as it isn't excessive. I take Women's One a Day vitamins so hopefully it will help.

mine started around 3.5 months and it's still happening at 5 months.... my shower drain is clogged every week! lol
