Is it okay to feed your baby breast milk by just pumping and putting it into bottles, rather than physically breast feeding? I was all for it because I want the healthiest option for my baby, but my husband feels like he will get left out and wants to be able to feed him too.

Yes but I'd do exclusively breast for the first few wks at least

I hear breast feeding is hard, but it's even harder when my mom doesn't really support it because nobody in my family has chosen the breast feeding path and my husband tells me he would prefer bottle feeding so he gets a chance to feed him.

Honestly it was only hard the first couple of days for me, i couldn't get him to latch once I left the hospital. I saw a lactation consultant and then it was great. I nursed for 26 mos, it's easier when people are supportive but just remember why you're doing it and don't worry about their opinions
