Actually, they do blood tests at 10 weeks to tell you what baby's gender is. So far everyone I know that has done it has had positive confirmation with ultrasound later on. It's pretty accurate. @reaganmommy2015

@yech0302, insurance often does not cover that test if you're not documented as high risk. Be careful they can cost thousands out of pocket.

I found out my baby's gender from a blood test, at 10 weeks. Got confirmed via ultrasound at 18 weeks. I paid $200 for the test.

$200 is not too bad. I'll just ask when I get there

Yea insurance usually covers most of it... You shouldn't have to pay more than $300
