We have our first appointment Monday with the pediatrician and my mom lost my baby's Medicaid card. I have been trying to call Medicaid and report his birth but couldn't get in touch with them both times. I'm going to call again today, but I definitely won't have his new card by Monday, is that going to affect anything? Or will they just be able to look at my Medicaid card and see his as well?

They should be. I didn't have my baby's card either but they looked up mines and saw hers.

they should be able to look it up. when my son was born i hadnt received his card yet but i had my card

do you still have your letter from when you got accepted? it should have "unborn baby" on there with your baby's medicaid number.
in shelby county we don't get or medicaid card for our baby until after they're born and we report their birth
