I'm going on 10 weeks today. I need suggestions on how I can stop sleeping on my stomach? I start on my side but I'll wake up and I'm on my stomach. I know I'm not very far along but I don't wanna sleep on my tummy like that cause I know it's not good. I'm been trying to stick to my left or right side. Any suggestions? Oh By the way, an Update: I finally get my first official ultrasound tomorrow!!! I am so excited!!!

I use to be a stomach sleeper but the bigger I got, it got harder to sleep on the stomach. Just keep sleeping on the sides eventually it'll all kick in :)

you're fine to sleep on your stomach until you physically can't anymore. it's sleeping on your back for long periods of time that you're supposed to avoid. however if you go to sleep one way and wake up another, don't panic even if it's not a position you're supposed to be in. your body shifted positions for a reason. regardless, none of that is really taken into account until after your first trimester so you're good in any way.

I'll be 39w tomorrow and I still catch myself on my stomach if I'm in a deep sleep. not the most comfortable lol

Haha! @proudmommy08 I could see how that wouldn't be very comfortable at all! I was just think of next week going to get a pregnancy pillow and that might help me keep me comfortable on my side because I like my legs are wrapped around pillows lol

Yea I use a pregnancy pillow too. it helps with back pain when sleeping on side. put one end between legs and other head under head
