I'm seeing a birth consultant tomorrow about an elective C - section, I've got a life long…

I've never had a baby but if you know it's a big risk you'll have lifelong pain, I wouldn't say it's worth it for the experience. I am dying to experience it too, without pain relief too, but I pretty much have to have an epidural and potential c section too, I'm just leaving it up to destiny as the baby's safety and my health comes first! x

@jem29, if they said it would definitely get worse the I would definitely go with a section. Its the not knowing that's hard. You're right though health does come over experience and I don't want to risk it. Thanks for your help 😊 I hope destiny is kind to you and you have a lovely birth xx

if there's a chance of it making your condition worse i would opt for section. I've had both and although its a completely different experiance. its calm and planned and you will remember it all where as with natural is unpredictable messy loud and painful and you probably won't remember a lot of it due to the pain. so totally different. good luck xx

I wanted to have a natural birth too but I was in labour for 36 hours and developed a lot of problems and was told if I didn't have a csection I could have died , so sometimes it is best to do something you may not want to originally do because of your health x

@lou, being healthy for your child is wat u need hun. id opt for a c section. even if there is just a chance you dont want to risk being in pain forever. the main thing is your baby will be here with you either way xx
