There is no way in knowing until you get checked to see how far dilated you are but how far apart are your contractions?

I went to the doctors today and I was 3cm and 70% thinned and I also had my membrane swept :/ my contractions were about 4-5 minutes apart but I took a hot shower and they stopped until I stood up and got out then they started again :'(

Oh wow this may be it but before anything I would call l&d to be sure so you don't waste your time going in. Are you able to walk? I ask cause when I was in labor with with my boys both times I could hardly walk
