my parents have asked us to stay over tomorrow for my sons birthday and there will more than likely be alcohol. I'm just 5/6 weeks pregnant. do I use this opportunity to tell them or just make up an excuse why I can't drink or can't stay? x

we told my OH'S family a day after we knew. 1 we live with them. but my head was all over the place I needed people to talk to haha however we only told our close family and made it very clear nobody else until we announce it. xx

we told family as soon as we knew with our first but we held off till the 12 week scan with our second. might do something so the kids r telling them xx

I think it depends how close you are with your parents. If you uncomfortable sharing, you shouldn't, just make up a reason 😄

gonna tell them.getting my 3 year old to hand my mum a dummy and my 9 year old to hand my dad a note at same time and note reads ....... dear granny and granda lease keep this at your house for when I visit because my daddy and mummy will probably forget it. see you in October, love baby
