My doctor is making me go see a high risk prenatal Dr tomorrow morning. Anybody know what they do there?

I had to go to one to make sure my baby was growing correctly & that everything looked good bc of that virus. I had a 45 minute ultrasound and they literally looked at everything & then talked to me about it. (He's perfectly fine 😬😊) But I bet it depends on why you're going too.

I started seeing my obgyn late so he scheduled me for the appointment was curious about it.

most likely you'll be watched and have more frequent appointments. . I'm high risk as well but I'm high risk because of my history of miscarriages and I'm carrying twins this time. .. why are you high risk

why are they making u go? I go every week. they monitor my son's heart for 20 mins and then give me an ultrasound for about 10 mins they check everything. and they look at my sugars.

@ladybugworkin, I'm sorry to hear that. I started seeing the obgyn at 6 months. I applied for medicaid and been denied so I cut my hrs down n now I'm approved and I'm 27 weeks and it's my 2 appointment with the obgyn then he shceduled me to the high risk dr

hmmmm and your Dr didn't give you a reason why

im high risk due to pre-eclampsia with my first pregnancy, i delivered at 28 weeks. and now too because of my age. but its really fetal care and u will be seen often. i see my OB or high risk weekly. last week it was high risk and tomorrow OB
