@ajennings, false. you can after x amount of weeks. usually after the 1st trimester risk goes way down.. it's still there but it decreases. however I can tell you from experience they won't do anything other than give u tylenol and wrap you from your thumb to your elbow. you can do that at home just as easy but cheaper.

If you did break it you will want it set properly.. You can get xrays, that's why they make lead gowns to wear. But do what you want.
