Hey everyone. Sorry i haven't updated sooner just been so overwhelmed by being a mummy. So I guess it's my story time 😊

Planning to have a baby with my wonderful partner has been one hell of a emotional roller coaster, was literally the happiest woman alive to find out I was pregnant after just one month of trying. At my 12 week scan I had the unfortunate news of my baby having Gastrosksis a condition where the babies bowel is on the outside, I was absolutely heartbroken confused and guilt ridden thinking it was my fault. After a while of coming to terms with it, doing my research on the condition I came to realise it was more common than I thought and something not to be frightened of and definitely not me to blame. I also realised how lucky I was to find out so early on and that it was a mild case of the condition. This experience has taught me that I'm grateful, not sad or why me, just grateful. Anyways my beautiful baby boy, Toby Benjamin Coburn was born on the 16/2/16 by inducement at 37 weeks and two days at 4:45 am on just gas on air. I can honestly say the pain was incredible haha but I'd do it 10 times for the overwhelming feeling of love I feel for this little human we have created. 💙
