ladies.. im a ftm soo what's better? I'm due in july but i remember my boss saying i leave in june, should I take the month before off and then my 6 weeks after the baby is born or should I work until the baby is born

I would work until your doctor says otherwise. You technically only have a maximum of 12 weeks off for maternity leave and that starts when you leave the job regardless if the baby is born. If you have any vacation or sick days, use those first.

okay...so basically i can have the summer off of work.. =) is that like the law that you get 12 weeks

12 weeks for FMLA is the law but sole jobs let you take longer if you have sick time etc

with my first I left a month early complete waste of time my last I left 2 weeks early and this one since I sit on my butt all day I plan to stay until baby comes lol and have all the time after with my baby. Summer vacation 😆

@mommyto3boys ooo i think i have a decent amount of sick time.. also im supoosed to go on vacation when i come back from maternity leave

yea I have alot of sick time and vacation time. I plant to only take maternity leave for 6 weeks then work from home for another 3 months since my job is pretty easy
