I love my last name, but hate that no one can pronounce it right. hasn't anyone heard of a serrano pepper? same pronunciation! which reminds me, my friend said in the hospital they made her use her maiden name. I don't want to (history behind that) plus I barely remember it sometimes lol

I have no idea but looking back she got married a few months before her baby was due. so maybe she hasn't changed her name yet? @brittanycheri

That could have been it, like if her insurance or ID still had her maiden name they have to go with what's on the insurance/ID card (atleast we do that at the Urgent Care I work at)

She is probably talking about on the birth certificate and yes they put your maiden name and your legal last name (if different) on everyone's birth certificate

Yeah that's a little difficult @usmcgirl0814 no, I went to visit and they had her room and her check in and everything under her maiden. I didn't ask about the certificate @harrisonfamily11

My last name is Zeiter pronounced Ziter and everyone calls me Zeeter lol drives me crazy. I dont even correct people anymore
