is it true that you're supposed to wash the baby's clothes before he/she wears it ?

that's what my mom told me.

yeah.. They have sensitive skin right after they are born.. i washed all the way to 6 months all blankets and towels toys

Babies have really sensitive skin, and the clothing factories usually spray clothes to keep them from wrinkling and keep them looking fresh. So I highly recommend it.

and you dont know who touched those items before it got to you..

thats a lot of clothes i have to wash lol.. he has more clothes than me 😢 but thanks ill was then next week separately when i do my laundry @babychloe @bharter96 @m.bullock

Yes. Babies have sensitive skin and some companies pre-treat clothes to keep them "fresh" also I use to work and retail and in the back would would throw them all over or be eating and if a piece of clothes fell just pick it up. And the boxers come in looking a hot mess. One time we had a box come in with clothes wet inside. So yes wash them lol

I didn't wash my baby's home coming clothes cause I forgot it was fine

i heard that drift doesnt work it just makes the clothes smell good .. so ill use tide w.o all the chemicals and stuff in it @jessica0830

@maimommy31, I use that and I use all free and clear.

yes, I recommend using tide free and gentle detergent. I use it cause my girls are allergic to dreft
